Primary Care clinicians play a critical role in Montgomery County’s Plan to End HIV by 2030. Pride in Sexual Health is a mostly web-based, CME/CEU-backed mini-symposium designed to build primary care clinicians’ knowledge, skills and practice to support early HIV diagnosis, treatment and prevention, all through an LGBTQ-inclusive lens. The series will conclude with a full-day, in-person, facilitated practicum at the Silver Spring Civic Center, where clinicians will have opportunities to practice their new skills with role play, small group discussion, work with standardized patients, and case analysis.
All clinicians are welcome to attend, but CME/CNE will be provided only to those practicing in Montgomery County. Credits will be awarded based on the number of full training modules attended and a completed evaluation.
