2022 SOLIDARITY FOR HEALTH EQUITY AWARDS APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.
Winners will be announced at the live event on December 1.
Equity is a core value of Montgomery County’s Plan to End HIV. The County’s HIV Epidemic, like many other epidemics here and across the world, is indicative of serious and persistent health inequities in healthcare access, outcomes, and overall wellness. The 2022 Solidarity for Health Equity Awards will highlight individuals, organizations, and networks who are dedicated to alleviating racial, ethnic, and other health disparities that impede progress and thwart public health efforts. Nominees may be working in healthcare directly or may be engaged in work that indirectly supports the health and wellness of communities that experience disproportionately poor healthcare access and outcomes because of historical and systematic exclusion from healthcare and other social services institutions.
